Welcomed by the Red Doors at Muhlenberg College

I recently spent an afternoon touring Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. Located on a beautiful campus in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley, Muhlenberg has about 2,200 undergraduate students.  About 75% come from either New Jersey, New York or Pennsylvania -- but our tour guide Ginelle grew up in California, and raved about the welcoming community on campus.  Popular programs at 'Berg include pre-med and performing arts.  Here are some (random!) interesting facts:

• Over 1/3 of Muhlenberg students are Jewish, and there are Reform, Conservative and Orthodox services available, as well as kosher food in the dining hall.
• Muhlenberg is test optional, however test scores are required for merit scholarships.
  
• Early Decision applications are read on a rolling basis, so you could get a decision very early!  Muhlenberg will also do an early read of your financial aid beginning October 1.
• Ben Folds recently performed on campus!
• This summer, Muhlenberg will be offering a pilot program of its new Summer Business Institute, designed to give liberal arts majors an introduction to management principles.
