Nicole Vikan
Nicole Vikan has fifteen years of experience helping students reflect on their strengths and interests, develop thoughtful applications, and retain their equanimity during the college, law school, and job application processes. Through her work, Nicole has helped hundreds of students achieve their goals. She has served as an Associate Director for Georgetown Law Center’s Office of Public Interest and Community Service and Fordham University School of Law’s Career Planning Center, volunteered for Carleton College’s Alumni Career Advisory Board and done alumni interviewing for the school, and worked as an independent admissions advisor. Now, Nicole uses the breadth of her experience to guide students through the college admissions process with Vinik Educational Placement Services.
Nicole graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College in Minnesota and earned her JD from New York University School of Law. Before Nicole began working with students, she served as a prosecutor for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. She was elected to the Board of Directors for NALP: The National Association for Legal Professionals and is an active volunteer with Carleton and Georgetown Day School (where her older child attends school).
